Bloom Nutrition and Cookery Course
for Stress and Low Energy
CPD accredited (25 points)
July 7-12th near Rome, Italy
Would you like a course that not only deepens your nutritional expertise, but also provides you with cookery and retreat chef skills that add in a practical dimension to your knowledge and help nurture your relationship with food?
The Bloom Nutrition and Cookery Course focuses on the impact of stress on the body in terms of the adrenals and general hormonal system, the digestive system and enteric nervous system, and at cellular level. As such you will gain an in-depth understanding of the impacts of stress on energy levels, inflammation and chronic disease. You will learn a naturopathic nutritional approach to preventing and addressing such issues, alongside recipes, cooking methods and approaches and a whole new way of looking at cooking and eating to counter the effects of stress.
It’s ideal for those of you with nutritional knowledge already who want to continually develop your knowledge and skills. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for complementary therapists in other fields – perhaps massage, reflexology, yoga or healing – who would like to give confident, effective nutritional advice that’s relevant for the work you do.
What really makes this course special is the understanding that how you eat is as important as what you eat, and that how you cook is as important as what you cook. Mindfulness will be a key theme throughout the course that you will be able to practise in a variety of ways. You will also learn about the physical effects of mindfulness alongside eating the kinds of foods and nutrients that help to reduce the impact of stress on your body, calm inflammation and improve energy levels.
This course provides substantial theory sessions delivered in a colourful and vibrant way that is easy to understand, alongside plenty of practical time in the kitchen. If you are a professional in either complementary health or catering, then the Bloom Cookery and Nutrition Course will provide you with 25 CPD points (Continuing Professional Development), and will bring both a deeper understanding of health issues and new skills to your work. We also welcome non-professionals to the course.
All of this within the stunning nature reserve of Monte Soratte, just a short train ride from Rome.
