Our venue for this summer’s Nutrition & Cookery Course is a nature lover’s paradise. Located 50 km north of Rome, Italy, in the protected area of Monte Soratte, Casali enjoys 19 hectares of unspoilt countryside nestled in a valley and surrounded by mountains, olive groves and rural farm land.
The course aims to teach you how to counter the effects of stress, including low energy, long term inflammation and chronic health problems, with 2 full days in the kitchen with inspiring holistic chef Hayley North, 2 full days of nutrition workshops with renowned nutritionist Kirsten Chick, and additional yoga, chi kung, meditation and mindfulness practices.
So what better location than a retreat venue with a yoga studio, open fires, hot tub and beautiful Italian countryside. On the land there is also a large allotment, fruit and nut trees, olive trees and a small mediation platform overlooking the valley. Gifting us with their presence are the horses, donkeys, chickens and dogs that add charm and magic along with an abundance of trees, plants, wild herbs, birds and wildlife.
Close by there are hot springs and natural waterfalls which we will visit during the course, as well as walks through woods and countryside. There are also many independent artisan organic foods producers close by.
Casali del Soratte is easily accessible by train from Rome FCO airport, and we will collect you from the station. From there, you can relax and immerse yourself in a unique and wonderful experience.
